We are a Pentecostal Church, in fellowship with Assemblies of God Great Britain (AoGGB) believes that every individual can and should have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have the opportunity to be part of a local, vibrant church.
At SGC, we are committed to nurturing a community where faith, love, and hope flourish. Guided by the leadership of Pastor Sam Sridharan and his family, we strive to be a place where lives are transformed by the gospel, where people find healing and restoration, and where the love of Jesus Christ is shared without reservation.
At the heart of our church’s mission and vision is Pastor Sam Sridharan, a devoted spiritual leader whose journey of faith and ministry has impacted lives across continents.

Shekhinah Glory Church (SGC) mission is to reach out to the community, share the love of God, transform lives for restoration and peace. Our mission is to reach the unreached, empower them by the truth and make them to be a blessing to others.
Shekhinah Glory Church (SGC) was started with a vision to reach all people in the community, to come to know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and Lord. As they enter into this new relationship with Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit and begin to reap all of God’s blessings in their lives.
1. BIBLE - THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD
We believe that the Bible (i.e. the Old and New Testaments excluding the Apocrypha), is the inspired Word of God, the infallible, all sufficient rule for faith and practice. The Bible is God-breathed Word brought to us through the partnership of human authors and divine inspiration and giving instruction, guidance, comfort and development to our lives.
2. UNITY OF THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD
We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God who is the Eternal, Self-Existent “I AM”, Who has also revealed Himself as One being co-existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
GOD THE FATHER
We believe in One God who is eternal, all-powerful, ever-present, all-knowing and self-existent, and that He has expressed Himself to us as the creator of our universe and lives have their origin in Him.
JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD
We believe Jesus was the Son of God in human form, fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life and died on the cross to redeem humankind. He rose from the dead after three days and eventually ascended to heaven with the promise that one day He will return to reign as King.
THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, given as a Comforter and Teacher, guiding us into God’s truth and forming Jesus within us. By filling us with His power He enables us to share a message of grace and demonstrate His supernatural goodness.
3. LIFE OF JESUS
We believe in the Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Miraculous Ministry, Substitutionary Atoning Death, Bodily Resurrection, Triumphant Ascension and Abiding Intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ and in His personal, visible, bodily return in power and glory as the blessed hope of all believers.
4. FALL OF MAN
We believe in the fall of man, who was created pure and upright, but fell by voluntary transgression.
5. SALVATION THROUGH FAITH
We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through His Blood we have Redemption.
6. NEW BIRTH
This experience is also known as the new birth, and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit upon initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
7. BAPTISM BY IMMERSION IN WATER
We believe that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water.
8. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an enduement of the believer with power for service, the essential, biblical evidence of which is the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
9. HOLY LIFE AND HOLY COMMUNION
We believe in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God. We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour should regularly participate in Breaking of Bread.
10. RESURRECTION
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the everlasting conscious bliss of all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting conscious punishment of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life.

Senior Pastor of Shekhinah Glory Church
Pastor Sam Sridharan was born and raised in India, a devoted Brahmin family and gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1994. In 2000, he moved with his family to Singapore, where he and his wife Janani served faithfully for 23 years as branch church pastors at Life Center Singapore (formerly Smyrna Assembly). There, they witnessed many lives transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit. In 2022, following God’s call, Pastor Sam and his family moved to Gloucestershire, UK, with a vision to reach the Tamil community and share the love of Jesus. Together they founded Shekinah Glory Church, continuing a ministry that began in Singapore in 2006 and grew from a small gathering into a vibrant house of prayer. Pastor Sam is a passionate evangelist, teacher, and gifted speaker, known for his unwavering faith and Spirit-filled preaching.

Pastor Janani Sridharan was born and raised in India in a devoted Brahmin family. After marrying Pastor Sam Sridharan, she experienced a powerful calling from God that changed her life. Together, they serve the Lord by reaching unreached communities and sharing the gospel. A loving wife and mother to Subhashree, Yuvashree, and Daniel, Pastor Janani co-pastors Shekhinah Glory Church. She is a gifted worship leader, mentors women in their faith, travels on mission trips, and offers counselling and support. Her deep faith and compassion continue to impact many lives.
